Aloof as a tiny, furry monarch, the cat strutted to the center of the room, paused dramatically, and, without a shred of shame, presented its backside like it was unveiling a masterpiece at an art gallery. The humans gasped. The cat didn’t care. In fact, the cat had never cared about anything less. If indifference were an Olympic sport, this feline would win gold simply by turning around and walking away, tail held high in triumphant apathy.
