Often as we get to different stages in life, we project that it is probably better somewhere else or sometime in the future. It is delusional to imagine that it’s better elsewhere when focusing solely on the negative aspects of the current situation and how it eventuated. Being perpetually dissatisfied with prevailing circumstances fails to find happiness with gratitude in the things that we are privileged to have.
