If we are unwilling to hear another point of view, then we are escaping a misplaced fear of being wrong and missing an opportunity to learn something new. It is important to first listen and then decide, as even if we disagree with someone, people can still change and surprise us with something interesting. It seems that in a divided society of cancel culture, everyone wants to be heard, but not many want to listen.
