Scared of death? Religion won’t help

The concept of religion dates back to very early ages of human evolution and was originally developed to help explain the unknown aspects of life and death. The uncomfortable uncertainty surrounding mortality was and still is the main catalyst for followers to find solace in the possibility that a certain belief will allow some form of serenity. In simple terms, religion has used the fear of death to conduce populaces into a pyramid scheme for control and economic gain.
