Pu - the uncarved block

At the core when born, we represent a pure, untouched state that represents our inner nature. Over the course of time, we acquire knowledge and, with it, form desires to change ourselves and the things around us to control what we believe is in our personal interests. Taoism teaches us that wisdom is not found through the acquisition of knowledge but instead the removal of it to find back our natural state.
