Pass the light

It seems that there is less willingness to help those in need, as many turn a blind eye to those facing life-changing difficulties. One theory is that divisive political messaging has conditioned many into thinking that giving to those with less somehow takes something away from the donor. It would be great if we could wake up to the fact that solidarity helps everyone in the long term and that passing on our light costs us nothing.
