Memento Mori

There can be a deep-seated fear of death, which has spawned many philosophies and rationales for religions over the ages. It is an understandable emotion based on the unknown since no one has ever come back from the end of life to confirm the existence of anything else. It is accepting that our time is limited that allows us to appreciate everything that life can offer, even the little things.
