It is astounding how history seems to be easily forgotten or transformed in a way that errors of the past are minimized in order to justify repeating them. In every case when war was declared, it has only resulted in destruction and human suffering on an unprecedented scale. However, there are always a few egocentric narcissists who think that declaring war is a good idea until they come up against the majority who will rise up to restore world peace.
