Let's Make 1984 Fiction Again

It was in 1949 that George Orwell put a story out there in his book that the future of technological advancement could possibly result in mass surveillance of a dystopian society. This was all some fantastical science fiction for entertainment purposes, and it gained interest in this very proposition. The unfortunate reality was that it also set out a playbook for how any authoritarian regime might go about controlling the people. The nefarious human trait of power and money made sure that the dystopia of 1984 would eventually come to fruition, so it is now up to the people to fight back and reverse it.
