Jesus: Ah Men!

If a story told gets repeatedly interpreted and retold, the chances are that it will diverge from the initial script at each rendition. It seems like every strain of religion has a slightly different take on the messages portrayed in the original scriptures of the good book. When the archetype text is interpreted to fit a certain narrative, then it must be open to all possible alternatives that may contradict the desired message.
