Ignorance is bliss

We often seek knowledge or reasoning especially when things seem to be unexplained by common logic. But, when we finally come to the end of research efforts, we can be bitterly disappointed with the answers to the initial question of why. This often stems from the underlying desire to be pleasantly surprised by the knowledge gained only to find out that the reasons are, in fact, due to the darker side of human nature.
