Making hasty decisions to get on with and on to the next thing has become somewhat of a mantra in a fast-paced world. There is a desire to escape unknown situations, which can force us to find answers and come to conclusions in the least amount of time with a fear that, by delaying, we might end up wasting time on them. There is no point in having instantaneous solutions, as they are likely to be suboptimal, and they also deny us the journey in musing them over before acting.
