If labeled an outcast, freak, or weirdo, it can quite simply be considered a compliment, as it immediately endows the recipient the freedom to behave without limits. Those who are called out in this way are usually the ones who break accepted norms and drive desperately needed change. Pigeonholing others as different is essentially just a declaration of ignorance and an overt display of self-conscious inadequacy fears.
