What a crazy idea it was to make sweet little edibles into animal shapes. When one might want to indulge in something magical, there is suddenly this internal conflict on whether to bite into something resembling a living being. Yet maybe this is the whole point whereby being transported into another realm requires both sacrifice and concurrent indulgence with a part of nature that reflects our own.
