Alternate Reality Motel

The intention is often genuine when one needs to make a nighttime journey to a faraway destination. It is not until a wariness of the mundane sets in that the mind starts to invent its own playbook. The usual outside landscape begins to take on a whole new reality, and it is at this point that we must question our ability to safely continue. We search for a place to rest only to find that each opportunity represents a paradox to the world in which we had originally believed and relied on.
