All I know is I know nothing

After many years of deliberation, Socrates realized something that basically undid all his life’s work: that knowledge is, in fact, useless. As soon as we think that we have achieved wisdom in a certain domain, we are doomed to fall victim to our own arrogance and denial. We know very little about how the universe works, so we are better off finding humility and just admitting it.
