There seems to be an obsessive trend to rewrite history books for them to be more inclusive of diversification and alternative lifestyles in society. With an unhealthy and unjustified fear that certain minorities might be offended, we are quick to change age-old stories for them to be politically acceptable in the current environment. If we go far enough in modifying established beliefs, we will inevitably end up defying all logic in how we actually came to be.
