Play It Backwards

There was a time when it was believed that rock music was a vehicle of communication for malevolent forces. Then came religious forms of rock and metal, so that theory was quickly thrown out of the window. The belief that the reversed playback of albums revealed hidden evil messages was the perfect marketing opportunity for rock bands to purposely record backwards to affirm the theory.
