Hang On! God’s on the other line

God finally called me back, but before I could say a word, a heavenly voice chimed in: “Your prayer is very important to us. Please stay on the line.” Then came harp music. Well, harp music mixed with what suspiciously sounded like angels arguing over whose turn it was to answer. By the time someone picked up, I’d forgotten what I wanted, which, honestly, might be the most realistic spiritual experience ever.
