Dancing with the devil

Some decisions in life come with possibly high-risk outcomes, and so many around us advise not to choose them so as not to get hurt. The problem with this premise is that others who judge the situation and give advice are basing their opinions on their own fears, values, and shortcomings. When we choose to dance with the devil, we must assume the consequences, which can be equally very bad or very fun.
