There is a level of expectation put on us from an early age to fit into some kind of acceptable mold in terms of the way that we act and behave. We are encouraged to subdue our expression of emotions so as not to cause a stir by offending or disturbing those around us. When we learn to express ourselves openly by externalizing our feelings without restraint, we begin to find our true selves and live to the fullest.
